Warranties

Please review the warranties and refund policies for Elite and Mate.

OurGuard Elite is covered under Extended Warranty.

Our sole and exclusive obligation to the Customer for any Elite tracker sold by us hereunder is to repair returned Product or provide a replacement Product [ * ] if needed for any Product which has been returned to us under the RMA procedure within eleven months from the date of purchase and which is defective in workmanship, material or not in compliance with the applicable Specifications and has in fact failed under normal use on or before the expiration of the warranty period of eleven months.

The warranty excludes and does not cover [ * ] Products and parts thereof which have been tampered with, opened, disassembled, or modified by persons or damage arising from misuse or neglect, damage from accident, use in conditions which exceeds the specifications, use outside of environmental specifications for the Product.

Any Product repaired or replaced under warranty is only warranted for the period of time remaining in the original warranty for the Product.

 

In case of tracker theft, customer can provide us written FIR which states the theft acknowledgement with original sales receipt and warranty card. We shall provide the Mate tracker as replacement on base price of Rs. 4500. (The base price of Mate tracker is subject to different factors and can be changed in future, the effective base price will be taken in consideration while providing the replacement.)

OurGuard Mate is covered under Standard warranty.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver the product in the timely manner. We use seven days window to deliver the product through out of India, in case of delay due to Force Majeure, new delivery date shall be adjusted accordingly. The risk for the Products shall pass to the Purchaser at the time of delivery, even if we agree to perform additional services, such as arranging of transportation of the Products.

In the event that the Purchaser does not collect the Products at the agreed date of delivery, the Supplier shall arrange for storage of the Products at the risk and expense of the Purchaser.

 

Should the Supplier become aware that he will not be able to deliver the Products at the agreed date of delivery, he shall forthwith notify the Purchaser using email or other means and new delivery date should be notified to the Purchaser.

Extended Warranty

It covers the elite

The Warranty states that if Elite found defective in quality, material or not in compliance with the applicable Specifications and has in fact failed under regular use on or before the expiration of the warranty period of eleven months. We will replace it with New Elite. We will also give you a new device to cover the period of tracker exchange so that you will not be out of your security net.
In the case of tracker theft or loss, we will give you a new Mate on factory price.

Warranty

Standard

OurGuard Mate is covered under Standard warranty.

The standard warranty says that If OurGuard Mate found defective in quality, material or not in compliance with the applicable Specifications and has in fact failed under regular use on or before the expiration of the warranty period of eleven months. We will respond to replace it without charge with the new Mate. 

Also, In case of theft or loss of your tracker, We will help you to locate and find who is currently using the tracker.

HOW WE MADE IT HACK PROOF?

We have chosen the SMS as a communication medium between device and application. SMS are old and proven technology and since they are just packets and don’t travel on the internet, this makes them almost hack proof.

We lost to Apple Iphone

We found that SMS are the best suited communication media to achieve our goals like affordable, secure, always working and not dependent on internet.but Apple IPhone doesn't allow it's Apps to send the SMS. So we had to abandon the IPhone App.
